Donating In-Kind Items to TTD
Through These Doors is currently accepting monetary and in-kind donations. Below, you will find a list of our needs that take first priority, and a list of items that we are always happy to accept. The priority list changes from time to time as we adjust based on the current needs of the Survivors we serve.

*If you mail us in-kind donations from an online retailer, don’t forget to include a note with your contact information, so we can be sure to connect and thank you properly!
Urgent Needs:
- Shampoo and conditioner for textured/curly hair
- Full sized bath towels (new only)
- Full sized bed pillows (new only)
- Portland bus passes
- Gift cards – Most urgently needed from Hannaford and Gas stations like Shell or Cumberland Farms.
- Phone minute cards (Trac Phone or Straight Talk preferred)
- Air Mattresses (New preferred, HAS to come with the self-inflate pump)
- New socks and underwear packs (New, unused, and unopened only. Sport and ankle socks needed most, no fuzzy slipper socks please).
- Reusable shopping bags, totes, backpacks, or small suitcases. (Gently used)
- Sunscreen and Bug spray (new, unopened and unexpired only).
- Phones (New or completely wiped and factory reset only. If you are unable to wipe and factory reset your phone, we cannot accept it.)
Year-round needs:

Gift cards of any amount (new or unused with original purchase balance) to stores like Walmart, Market Basket, Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, Hannaford, Target, or gas station cards from Cumberland Farms or Shell. Generally, gift card amounts starting at $10 are preferred.

Cookware sets like pots and pans (multiple sets needed) (preferably new or gently used, acceptance is condition based).

Dinnerware sets for at least 4 place settings (multiple sets needed) (preferably new, acceptance is condition based).

Diapers, and toddler pull-ups. specifically, sizes 4t, 5t, and 6t (can be accepted out of original packaging as long as they are not damaged or expired).

Tech accessories: phone chargers, headphones, ear buds (new). Portable power banks (can be gently used as long as they are still in good condition). USB Drives (new only, USCB is the universal charger type we prefer).

Household cleaning supplies: laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, dishwasher or laundry pods, dryer sheets, Swiffer’s and Swiffer pads, dusters, Clorox wipes, multi-purpose kitchen and bathroom cleaners, paper towels, trash bags, (unopened, new, and unexpired products only please, unscented preferred).

Self-care and personal care items and products: body wash, hand soap, deodorant, unscented body and hand lotion, cotton balls or cotton rounds, nail clippers, make-up remover or facewash, shaving razors and baby soap. (unopened, new, and unexpired products only please, full sized and sensitive skin or unscented preferred).

Personal hygiene items and products: Regular to heavy flow pads, facial tissues, razors, full sized hairbrushes, toilet paper, (Please only new, unopened, and unexpired items).
- snacks, non-perishable food, and cases of bottled water (new, unopened and unexpired only).
- Bedding: Comforters, pillows, sleeping bags (Queen sized needed most, new only).
